The Polar Alaska 26 with an aluminum frame and Shimano components is a reliable companion for everyday use in relaxed and recreational riding on groomed trails.

The Alaska comes with a lightweight frame constructed from 6061 aluminum hydroformed butted tubing. With this technique, the material is thicker at stress points but thinner elsewhere. The result is a light and strong frame, with very good driving characteristics. The slightly lowered top tube makes it much easier for shorter riders to use.

When riding a bike on a dirt road, comfort is very important. The shock absorber front fork ensures that all bumps are absorbed effortlessly. This way you always maintain complete control.

The 3×7 drive train gives a wide range of speeds, to easily overcome hills and to drive in fine speed on the flat. Thanks to Shimano gears, you can quickly and easily adapt the operation of the entire system to your needs.

Radius mechanical disc brakes are responsible for safe stopping. Disc brakes tend to perform equally well in all conditions, including water, mud and snow. The braking surface is away from the ground and possible dirt that can compromise braking performance.

The 26” wheels with double-walled aluminum rims ensure durability, and thanks to the use of wide, high-volume tires, good grip, and will also significantly improve rider comfort on hard surfaces.
